What was the result of the experience?

Working as a kindergarten assistant has allowed me to acquire skills such as communication, patience, leadership, flexibility and adaptability when working with children of such a young age.

How did your flexibility and adaptability help you to deal with the situation?

These skills helped me a lot since it was my first job and the first time working with children, at the beginning it was a little complicated but my flexibility and adaptability to change allowed me and helped me to be open and willing to learn and acquire new skills with a situation I was not used to and with so many people and children I did not know and to evolve in my workplace.

Would you change anything in order to deal in a better way with it?

The only thing I would change would be the little assertive communication I had with the children and teachers in my first month, in which I was beginning to adapt. In the rest I think I would not change anything, because with the successes and mistakes I had, I learned many things, especially how to teach and establish a communication and relationship with young children where they feel comfortable, safe and happy in the garden.
